Our Dambulla operation is situated at Galewela, Dambulla.  The area enjoys temperature highs of about 35 Degrees C and as lows of  25 Degrees Centigrade with year round rainfall  with peaks of about 428mm around October and May.  The combination of Temperature and rainfall has made Dambulla an agricultural centre for vegetable growers.  The farm grows, tomatoes, onions, corn, radish, chillies, pumpkin, a variety of local and indigenous egg plant varieties, beet root, carrots, cabbage, bitter gourd, snake gourd generally also grouped under the label of dry zone vegetables. Plans are currently being finalized to convert some of the land into greenhousing to exploit technological innovation to increase crops and meet the challenges of weather and other environmental changes.
